1. General

Your privacy is very important to us. We want to process your personal data in an honest, legal, correct and transparent manner. However, we can change our privacy policy at any time. The most recent version can always be found on this page, with the date of the last adjustment at the top.

We recommend that you read the Privacy Policy carefully so that you know why and for what purpose we process your personal data. By using the website, or making a purchase from our store, you accept all terms and agree that we collect and process your personal data in accordance with this Privacy Policy.

Room For Style will not collect any personal data from visitors that it reasonably knows belong to the age group of minors (minus 18). Minors are also not allowed to make the purchase unless they have permission from their parents or guardian.

If you would like more information about privacy legislation in Belgium, you can visit the website of the data protection authority www.dataprotectionauthority.be.

We have taken the necessary steps to comply with the new GDPR regulations (General Data Protection Regulation) of April 27, 201, which came into effect on May 25, 2018.

2. Your right to privacy

You have many rights when processing your personal data. When Room For Style asks for your permission, you can always withdraw that permission. The execution of your rights in our systems and procedures takes place no later than 30 days after we have received your request. If for any reason this term cannot be met, we will inform you before the expiry of the original period.

2.1 You may access your personal data

You have the right to inspect the personal data that we process about you, the purpose of the processing, where we obtained the data from and who receives the data.  In this case, you can also find out how long we keep the data, whether the data is used for automated decision-making and whether we plan to send the data to a country outside the European Union. We will provide you with the requested information electronically within a reasonable period of time.

2.2 You can have your data recified / completed

It may happen that the data we process about you is not or no longer correct. You can always ask to have the incorrect data corrected or supplemented with the missing data. We prefer to suggest that you inform us of these changes through our website.

2.4 Right to restrict the processing of personal data

You can ask us to limit the processing of your personal data if you suspect that the data is incorrect, the processing is unlawful or if you do not agree that we process the data under our legitimate interest. We will grant this objection unless there are compelling reasons not to do so, for example to prevent fraud or defaults on payments.

  2.5 Right to object

You have the right to object to the processing of your personal data if you have serious and legitimate reasons for doing so. However, you cannot object to the processing of your personal data if these are necessary for the follow-up and processing of your order.
