General terms & conditions for the Room For Style website
These general terms and conditions apply to all transactions concluded online with Room For Style. Please read them carefully before placing an order. All agreements are subject to and interpreted in accordance with Belgian law. In addition, all disputes between us will be settled exclusively by the Belgian courts. Nothing in these terms and conditions shall be deemed to affect your statutory rights.
By using this website you agree to these terms and conditions. All transactions with Room For Style are subject to these terms and conditions.
With 'the company', 'we' or 'us/our' we always refer to Room For Style. The term "customer" always refers to the person or persons who purchase or agree to purchase goods from the company. Any reference to the website implies a reference to all URLs owned by Room For Style.
All prices are in euros. They include VAT at the applicable rate, unless clearly stated otherwise. All prices are subject to change without notice.
To purchase a product, you must first add the product to your shopping cart. If you have added the desired products to your shopping cart, you can enter your contact details and billing information. After that, you must provide us with the necessary information for the payment of the products. Once we have received all the previous information, you will get an overview page with a link to this terms. If you accept, your purchase is final. The purchase agreement can be concluded in the language of the website from which you purchase.
We accept orders via online transactions (secure server). All credit and debit card transactions are subject to validation checks and approval by the card issuer. We accept Bancontact/Mister Cash, Visa, MasterCard, Maestro, KBC Online/CBC Online, ING Homepay, Belfius Direct Net, iDEAL and PayPal. If the issuer of your card refuses to agree to your payment to us, we cannot be held responsible for delays in delivery and/or non-delivery of your order. Orders without valid payment in the name of the registered cardholder will not be accepted or processed.
Please note: minors (under 18) are not allowed to make the purchase unless they have permission from their parents or guardian.
Ordered products will be delivered as soon as possible in accordance with the requested delivery method. All delivery charges are subject to change without notice. We make every effort to ensure that you receive your order within the estimated delivery time. The maximum delivery time is 14 days, counting from the day after your order. All goods are delivered subject to their availability. Promotions always run during the specified period or while stocks last. If we are unable to deliver your goods within 14 days, we will notify you immediately and inform you of the expected delivery date. If we are unable to deliver the goods within 30 days, you may cancel the undelivered orders/products at any time after you have been notified of the late delivery. If the payment has already been made, you will receive a full refund of the relevant item or items. If the goods delivered by us were damaged during transport, do not correspond to the items stated on the delivery note or do not correspond to the items you ordered, you must report this and return the items to us within 7 calendar days after their receipt. If we do not receive such notice, the customer will be deemed to have accepted the items as satisfactory. We cannot be held responsible for any consequential damages due to late delivery or non-delivery by the carrier appointed by the company. Our liability in such cases is limited to the value of the items that are proven not to have been received by the customer.
- Returning and exchanging items
We want you to be completely satisfied with every purchase from Room For Style and are committed to offering you excellent quality, value for money and service at all times. If you wish to return an item for exchange, or if you have decided not to keep it, please complete the returns note that you received with your delivery and return it to us within 7 calendar days, together with the products in their original packaging and with the label. When appropriate, we will exchange the item(s) or refund the cost. All goods must be returned in new and unused condition, together with a copy of your original delivery note.
If you wish to return an item because it is damaged, please fill in the details on the return note with a description of the damage and return it to us together with the item in its original packaging within 7 calendar days. When appropriate, we will exchange the item or refund the full cost. The customer is responsible for the shipment of the goods.
If you have received a product in damaged condition, please inform us first. You can contact us via info at RoomForStyle.be. We will look at how we can offer a solution and will ask you to return the item. Send the damaged product, together with the return note and a description of the damage, with sufficient postage to our return address. Also include your account number so we can make a refund.

Please also clearly indicate what is wrong with the purchased product, or indicate where something is not right. All items must be returned to us in neat and orderly condition, so that we can help you as quickly as possible.
All products are sold on their own unless otherwise stated. We make every effort to ensure that the colors on the website correspond as closely as possible to those of the actual product. Due to technical limitations, certain colors may vary slightly.
- Distance selling regulations
In accordance with distance selling regulations, you have the right to cancel any order placed via the website for a refund within 14 calendar days from the day after the delivery date, provided the goods are unused. This does not apply to perishable goods, unsealed software or items that have been personalized or made according to your instructions.
To cancel an item, you can send us an e-mail to info at RoomForStyle.be in which you inform us of your customer number and the number of the order. You must take reasonable care of the items and retain all original packaging, and you must not use the items. The items must be returned within 14 calendar days of sending us your cancellation notice. They can be returned to our customer service (see contact details). All items will be returned at your expense. In the case of damaged or incorrect items, we will refund the costs upon receipt of the items. If we receive the items in unused condition and in their original packaging with all accessories, you will receive the refund within 14 days of your cancellation notice.
- Force of the majority
We will not be responsible for any failure to perform our obligations as a result of, or caused by, labor disputes or any other circumstances beyond the Company's reasonable control, such as cases of force majeure, riot and disturbance, flood, fire, strike, lockout, difficulties finding transportation and the enactment of laws. If due to such circumstances it becomes impossible for the company to deliver the ordered items in whole or in part within a reasonable period of time, the customer's liability will be limited to the value of the items already delivered, plus any associated delivery costs.
Any information contained on our website(s) or read on any of the Company's printed materials is not considered coercive or recognized as best practice. It should only be regarded as useful additional advice in addition to other recognized practice guidelines. All information on our website is regularly updated.
- Prices and misprints
We check prices and specifications to the best of our ability. While we make every effort to ensure that they are correct, we accept no responsibility for errors and omissions. We reserve the right to change our prices and specifications without notice.
- Ownership of goods
All items delivered to the customer remain the property of Room For Style until payment of all amounts due for the items in question has been received by us.
- Questions or complaints
All questions, complaints or comments can be sent to our customer service via info at RoomForStyle.be. We make every effort to handle your complaint within 5 working days of receipt. If we are unable to resolve your complaint immediately, we will inform you of the expected timeframe. We will keep you informed of any inquiry.
You can also report complaints and disputes via the European ODR (Online Dispute Resolution) Platform. The website of the ODR is http://ec.europa.eu/odr.
We make every effort to protect the security of the users of our online order service as much as possible. We use SSL (secure socket layer) technology to keep your data secure during all sales transactions with us. All information you provide is fully encrypted so that third parties cannot read it.
